Dr Leif Hanlen received a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Newcastle, Australia, in 1999. His undergraduate studies were supported by the New South Wales Electrical Transmission Authority. He received a PhD in Channel Modelling and Capacity Analysis for Multi-input, Multi-output, Wireless Communication Systems in 2004 from the University of Newcastle.
Dr Hanlen is Technology Director at NICTA.
